KAMC HD STORM TEAM WEATHER BRIEF: Another mild day ahead for the South Plains on the heels of down-slope winds for Sunday.  As zonal flow sets up across the continental U.S., a series of cold fronts will move toward the S. Plains.  Our first front, arrives Sunday night, leading to a cooler Monday (Highs 50s/60s).  The second front on Monday night (Highs-Tues. 50s./60s)  A third front by Wednesday afternoon (Highs-Wed./Thu.-40s/50s/60s).  Temperatures will rebound into the upper 60s by Friday due to down-slope winds.  A stronger cold front is poised to reach the area on Saturday.  This front will push a polar air mass (briefly) into the region, just in time for the start of the week before Christmas.  Stay tuned!  LUBBOCK-Sun.-69/32/0%/Breezy Mon.-63/37/0%/Breezy Tue.-60/38/0%   …..KEVAN SMITH
