TODAY: The cold front that is moving through this morning will result in a major cool down by the afternoon! High temperatures will be close to 30 degrees coolers than yesterday’s highs. Most of us will climb into the upper 50s by the afternoon with cloudy skies sticking around. There is still a very slight chance our southeastern counties could see a light shower later this evening, but the majority of us will stay dry.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloud overnight with low temperatures dropping into the 40s.
TOMORROW: Warming back into the 70s tomorrow afternoon ahead of a stronger, second cold front. By the afternoon hours as the front swings through, there is a chance for some showers and storms to develop along the boundary. The majority of the storm/shower activity tomorrow will be in our southeastern counties, but here in Lubbock we still have a shot at seeing some light rain.
Have a great weekend!
