TODAY: Storms will develop later today throughout the South Plains and eastern New Mexico. Some storms have the potential to be strong and even severe producing hail, gusty winds, and locally heavy rainfall. Cloudy skies will also stick around today keeping temperatures cooler in the 60s.

TONIGHT: Storm activity will increase in coverage and strength overnight. The severe threat will exist through the overnight hours for all of us across the South Plains.

TOMORROW: Lingering storms and showers during the first half of the day tomorrow and then by the afternoon things will begin to dry out with temperatures in the low 70s.
