TODAY: A wide range of weather is expected today across the South Plains as an upper level system approaches. The winds will become gusty this afternoon with gusts at time near 50 mph resulting in blowing dust. Wind Advisories are in place for most of the South Plains and Red Flag Warnings for Lubbock, Lynn, Terry, Cochran, Hockley, Yoakum, Dawson, and Gaines Counties from noon until 7PM. Isolated storms/showers are still possible in our northern counties, but most of us will remain dry. A cold front will swing through later today and the cold air will push in by the evening.

TONIGHT: Much colder overnight as temperatures fall into the mid/upper 30s. Most of us will remain above freezing thanks to the winds that will stay breezy overnight.

TOMORROW: Breezy tomorrow morning, but the winds will become calm by the afternoon with highs in the mid 60s and mostly sunny skies.

Have a great day!
