TODAY: Another warm, summer like day is ahead with highs in the low 90s. A few showers/storms moved through early this morning, but they will continue to shift northeast and the majority of us will remain dry today. However, a few counties off the Caprock are under a slight risk for severe weather later this afternoon/evening. The counties included are Hall, Motley, Cottle, King, Dickens, Kent, Borden, and Scurry. This risk is minimal, since we are expecting the bulk of the severe storms to remain well off to our south and east.

TONIGHT: A weak front will swing through the South Plains tonight and overnight lows will be a little cooler dropping into the mid/upper 50s with partly cloudy skies.

TOMORROW: Temperatures won’t be quite as hot as you finish out your work week. Highs will top out in the upper 80s around the area with plenty of sunshine!
