Happy Memorial Day!
TODAY: A sunny start to your holiday, but a few more clouds will build in later this morning with high temperatures reaching the mid 80s. A marginal risk for severe storms also exists for the South Plains this afternoon and through the evening, however conditions aren’t as favorable today as they were yesterday for severe development. With that being said our risk is relatively low, but some storms producing hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain are still possible.
TONIGHT: Lows tonight will drop into the low 60s with a few lingering storms/showers throughout the area.
TOMORROW: A slightly warmer day is in store for your Tuesday, but we’ll keep the rain chances in the forecast. Overnight a front will swing through the South Plains generating some showers/storms and will also drastically drop high temperatures for Wednesday.
