TODAY: Clouds will be on the increase today, which will help keep our temperatures much cooler than this past weekend. Highs will top out in the upper 70s with breezy conditions. By later this evening, storms are expected to develop mainly in eastern New Mexico and the western South Plains. Some storms could produce gusty winds and hail.
TONIGHT: Storm chances will stay in the forecast overnight, still mainly off to our west. The rest of us will see cloudy skies and mild temperatures only dropping again into the low 60s.
TOMORROW: Some storms/showers are possible for your morning commute tomorrow, but the storm activity will not expand in strength and coverage until the evening and into the overnight hours. There is a good chance the storms that develop tomorrow evening could become severe, producing hail, gusty winds, and a few tornadoes.
Have a great day!
