TODAY: The triple digit heat is back as you start your work week. A few storms/showers this morning for our eastern counties, but more sunshine is in store for you Monday afternoon. High temperatures will yet again climb to the century mark throughout the South Plains with the chance for a few evening storms. Any storms that do develop later have the potential to turn severe and produce gusty winds as well as small hail.

TONIGHT: Overnight lows will drop into the mid 70s with partly cloudy skies.

TOMORROW: Even hotter tomorrow, with highs just above 100° and mostly sunny skies. However, the chance for isolated evening storms remains in the forecast.

Have a great day!
