TODAY: We’re dealing with a few isolated storms and cloudy skies this Friday morning. Temperatures have also been a lot cooler due to a cold front that swung through the area last night. However, by the afternoon you can expect more in the way of sunshine and high temperatures will also be cooler than the past few days, topping out in the mid 90s. We’re in store for another possible round of severe storms later tonight. The main threats are wind gusts of 60 mph or greater and hail.
TONIGHT: Storms will continue to move through the South Plains overnight. You can expect frequent lightning and thunder as well as gusty winds. Temperatures will drop into the low 70s.
TOMORROW: A stray storm/shower is possible early tomorrow morning, but by the afternoon we will dry out and high temperatures will climb into the upper 90s.
Have a great weekend!
