TODAY: One more day of this heat with high temperatures in the upper 90s. A few more clouds building in later this afternoon and then rain chances return to the forecast as we head into the later evening/early night time hours.
TONIGHT: A few storms will continue to move through the South Plains overnight producing some heavy rain and lightning. The rest of us will see mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the low 70s.
TOMORROW: High temperatures tomorrow will be closer to average topping out in the mid 90s as the ridge of high pressure shifts further west. Chance for rain/storms will remain in the forecast later tomorrow evening as well.
