TODAY: Another hot day is ahead with near record breaking temperatures! A heat advisory is in place for our southern most counties, including Gaines, Dawson, Borden, Scurry, and Lea Counties. Although the rest of the South Plains is not under the advisory, that doesn’t mean that it’s not going to be hot. High temperatures today will range from 100-105 degrees. Mostly sunny skies later this morning, but as we head into the evening hours a few isolated storms could pop throughout the South Plains.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies overnight with lows dropping down to the mid 70s.

TOMORROW: The heat continues tomorrow, with high temperatures yet again ranging from 100-105 degrees. Plenty of sunshine throughout the day, but isolated evening storms are again possible.

Have a great day and stay cool!
