TODAY: We’re stuck in a typical summer-like pattern again today with high pressure to our south, which will continue to heat us up. Heat advisories have been issued for our southwestern counties beginning at noon and extending until 8pm. Bailey, Lamb, Cochran, Hockley, Lubbock, Lea, Yoakum, Terry, Lynn, and Gaines Counties are included in this advisory. High temperatures are expected to range from 100°-107°. Another round of late afternoon/evening storms is also possible. Any storms that do develop have the potential to turn severe and produce hail as well as gusty winds.

TONIGHT: After the sun sets tonight, any storms that do develop will quickly dissipate. Low temperatures will yet again drop into the mid 70s overnight with partly cloudy skies.

TOMORROW: Still hot tomorrow, but high temperatures will be slightly cooler not quite reaching the triple digit mark. Partly cloudy skies throughout the day with a chance for scattered storms later in the afternoon.

Have a great day!
