TODAY: High temperatures will be a couple degrees warmer today due to an area of high pressure over central Texas that has begun to expand westward. Most of us will top out in the upper 90s, but areas off the Caprock will be in the low 100s by the afternoon. A slight chance for isolated storms in our northwestern counties remains in the forecast, but the majority of us will continue to stay dry with plenty of sunshine.
TONIGHT: Storms overnight will stay well off to our west, keeping everyone in the South Plains dry with a few clouds and low temperatures in mid 70s.
TOMORROW: More sunshine is on tap as you finish out the work week. We will also continue to remain dry and hot with high temperatures yet again topping out in the upper 90s/low 100s.
Have a great day!
