TODAY: The chance for scattered storms throughout the South Plains remains in the forecast for this afternoon/evening as well as cloudy skies. Due to the thick cloud cover, high temperatures today will continue to stick below average in the low 80s. Some storms have the potential to produce heavy rain resulting in flooding. Flash Flood Watches continue for Gaines and Lea Counties until 7:00 PM this evening.

TONIGHT: A few scattered storms have the potential to develop overnight, but I think most of us will just see cloudy skies with low temperatures in the mid 60s.

TOMORROW: Slightly lower rain chances for your Friday, but scattered storms are still expected. Also we will see more breaks in the clouds than the past few days resulting in slightly higher temperatures in the mid 80s.

Have a great day!
