TODAY: Clouds will increase keeping temperatures cool in the lower 50s. Rain/storm chances also increasing, beginning just after the lunch hour. Precipitation will start off as light rain with a few isolated thunderstorms possible.

TONIGHT: A strong cold front pushes across the area. Temperatures in the northwestern corner of the South Plains will drop below freezing. This cold air will transition rain showers into a wintry mix and some snow showers. Any accumulation of winter weather, if any, will be light.

TOMORROW: A 50% chance of scattered light rain showers will linger through the evening along with cloudy skies and cold temps. Afternoon highs tomorrow will only top out in the mid 40s but with strong winds also in the forecast, anywhere from 20-30 mph, gustings to 40 mph at times, wind chills will be in the 30s all day long.
