A striking performance comes to the Texas Tech University Allen Theatre Friday night. The Other Mozart is a monodrama, set in an 18-foot dress, about Mozart’s sister, Nannerl. She was her brother’s equal and performed with him across Europe, but her story, eventually, faded to history. The show has won numerous awards in New York, and is a multi-sensual experience. The only performance is, again, Friday night at 7:30. Get your tickets through Select-A-Seat.

The Kaiju are back and we humans are going to fight to the bitter end. John Boyega stars in Pacific Rim Uprising, as the son of a legendary Jaeger pilot. He lives in the shadow of his father’s sacrifice, which save mankind. After slacking for years, Jake Pentecost now has to live up to his father’s legacy and once again save humanity. The effects are great but the reviews are not. It’s rated PG-13 and runs a little longer than an hour-and-a-half. Join the epic battle to save our species at the Alamo Drafthouse, Premiere or either Cinemark.
