Number 95 finds himself pushed out of the sport, but he’s not giving up that easy. He gets a little help from a young race technician, and some inspiration from his past to take on the younger, faster cars. And of course, the highway of life throws a few curves and potholes in his way… but that won’t stop him. It’s rated G and runs less than two hours. Lubbock Moonlight Musicals continues its 12th summer season with The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. It’s based on the classic Twain novel, set on the Mississippi at the end of the 1800s. Performances continue through July the 1st, Fridays and Saturdays. Gates open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8:00.
You can bring your coolers or even have a little picnic. Ticket are about $20 for adults and $7 for kids, and premium seating is available, through Select-a-Seat.
