Winchester elaborates on the story of the most haunted house in the world. Helen Mirren plays the heiress to the firearms empire, and after the death of her family, she’s convinced she’s being haunted by the souls of those killed with guns. The house is seven-stories tall and has hundreds of rooms, constructed under the guidance of what many think was her madness. The company sends a psychiatrist to evaluate her, and he discovers her strange obsession with the house may not be a delusion. It’s rated PG-13 and runs and hour-and-a-half. Enter the maze of hauntings at the Alamo Drafthouse, either Cinemark or Premiere.

Something different this year: basketball’s first four-point line, more than six feet farther than the NBA’s three-pointer. If you haven’t seen the Globetrotters, do your family a favor and watch the hijinks.
