Ridley Scott retakes the reigns of the Alien franchise, and the result will be terrifying. Alien: Covenant is rated R and runs two hours. A teenage girl has an extreme immunodeficiency, so bad she can’t even leave the house: she’s allergic to Everything, Everything. Her life-in-a-bubble changes when she starts chatting to the boy next door. It’s rated PG-13 and it’s adapted from the young adult novel of the same name. The romance lasts about an hour and a half. Take a date to the Alamo Drafthouse or Movies 16.
