The two do not get along, but they discover a criminal plot that could jeopardize the Bay’s future. Rated R and running just shy of two hours, the critic generally hate it… but everybody loves Dwayne Johnson. Avoid the hassle of Pirates and jump into Baywatch at the Alamo Drafthouse and every other Lubbock movie theater.
If you’re into cosplay, gaming, sci-fi, comics books and anime… hit the Civic Center this weekend for Lubbock-Con 2017. It’s a two-day convention, with several special guests and dozens of vendors. It’s Saturday and Sunday, the 27th and 28th. You can get your $15 general admission tickets now through Select-a-Seat.
Joyland starts its summer season this weekend, and the park will stay open through August. They’re also open Memorial Day at 2:00 and they’re running a special — Four people can ride for $44 or individuals for $12. It’s great for the family with plenty of rides for the kids and the kids-at-heart. Again, the park is open summer hours starting Friday, and they are closed Mondays except Memorial Day.
