The owner of Rise N Shine Donuts released video of an armed robbery which happened Friday before 7:00 a.m. 

The video showed an employee held at gun point at the store’s location, 1908 50th Street. 

The video showed a man ordering items, then pulling out a gun and pointing it at the cashier. 

Video showed him taking the money from the register and then he fled. The owner lost more than $200, but said no employees were injured.

Rise N Shine filed a case with police, but the owner said the suspect has not been caught.

On Monday morning, police provided the following summary: 

On June 29th, at approximately 6:30 a.m., officers were called to Rise and Shine Donuts located at 1908 50th Street in reference to a robbery that had just occurred.

Officers were advised a male came into the store and acted as if he was going to make an order. While at the counter, the male suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the register. The suspect then left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officers on scene were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect appears to be a Hispanic male, possibly 35 to 45 years old and about 6-foot in height.
