LUBBOCK, Texas– Lubbock Police responded to a car accident shortly after 10 p.m. on Tuesday night.
The Lubbock Police desk said a red car hit a semi-truck at the intersection of University and South Loop 289. The accident occured under the overpass for Loop 289 in that area.
Initially, LPD said the truck driver was driving the wrong way when it hit the semi-truck. Police later clarified, the driver T-boned the semi-truck. Police said one person was moderately injured. EMS was at the scene.
