You could hear “Raider Power” being chanted for hours during the Texas Tech game against Duke in Game Three of the Super Regionals. Tech taking that win, meaning the team is on their way to Omaha. 

Fans were super excited for the team and several said they are on their way to Omaha with the team. 

“I’m pumped. Time to book the trip to Omaha. Oh yeah, it’s time to go. 806 to Omaha,” said Jared Alderson, who was there to watch Tech’s historic win. 

“We don’t get this opportunity very often. We’ve had a great team this year so I’m very excited. Me and my brother and dad are going to be taking a trip to Omaha,” said last semester senior, Andrew Venincasa. 

The trip from the center of Lubbock is about 806 miles all the way to Omaha. Some say a coincidence, others a possible sign of future victory. 

And some kids had some advice fro Coach Tadlock…”win the world series.”
