Kids in Lubbock ISD headed back to school this morning. The bell rang and the doors opened for schools across Lubbock this morning with eager kids and excited teachers.
It has been several months since the City of Lubbock has had active school zones and Communications Director for Lubbock ISD gave tips for staying safe this school year.
- Be early to drop off the kids at school.
- It’s against the law to use your cell phone in a school zone.
