A new Canadian study found infertility treatments may increase a woman’s risk for developing postpartum hemorrhage and sepsis. Researchers found women who turned to “in vitro fertilization” and other treatments were about 40% more likely to experience some type of complication compared to women who conceived naturally.
Drivers who don’t wear seatbelts are likely to have younger passengers who also don’t buckle up, according to a new study in the journal Pediatrics. Researchers studied data from accidents between 2011 through 2015 involving passengers age 19 and younger. They recommended stronger seat belt laws targeting unrestrained passengers.
A new study suggested young adults between the ages of 25 and 49 are being diagnosed with obesity-related cancers faster than older generations. Researchers said a change in eating habits and physical activity could be effective ways to tackle the trend.
