Young people who binge drink may be putting the health of their future children at risk, according to a new study. Researchers at the University of Chicago used lab rats to track binge-drinking through puberty and found later in life, their babies were born smaller, were less inclined to play and had low testosterone levels.
New research showed young adults who combine alcohol with marijuana are more likely to have unprotected sex. The study published in the American Journal on Addictions finds women who mix the drugs are more at risk than men.
Exercise makes the blood of obese people healthier, reducing the kind of blood cells that cause inflammation. That was from Canadian researchers who tracked obese adults in a 6-week exercise program of biking and running.
