A new approach to Alzheimer’s disease may one day help reverse memory loss. A new study at the University of Buffalo that focuses on gene changes has had some success in temporarily restoring memory loss in animals.  

Researchers in Arizona said the mental health of mothers can suffer managing the home. Their study showed “invisible labor,” such as keeping track of kid’s appointments, homework and making sure items don’t run out, can be overwhelming, even if others share in the duties.

The risk of heart disease may begin even before childbirth. A new British study found children whose mothers had low oxygen levels during pregnancy may be at greater risk of heart disease later in life. Pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes and maternal smoking can lower oxygen levels.
