The Slaton Police Department, along with the Texas Rangers, are looking for a  teenage girl who went missing on September 17.

Billie Renfro, 16, of Slaton was last seen after telling family she was going to the movies in Lubbock.

“Billie, we love you, I’ve raised you since you were two years old,” Billies Father Jerry Renfro said, “This is tearing us apart. We need you to come home.”

Slaton Police Chief Trevor Barnes said he does not believe Renfro made it to Lubbock.

“Regardless of consequences of the law, do the right thing, and let the father hug his daughter,” Barnes said.

Barnes said she may be traveling with with Arnulfo Alvarado (goes by “Ray”), 31, to Colorado.  He was last seen driving a 2015 white Honda Accord with a Texas license plate.

Online records indicated Alvarado has a criminal history in Slaton.

Family members and authorities are begging Renfro to come home or asking whoever she’s with to bring her back.

If you’ve seen Renfro or have any information that can help authorities, call Crime Line at 806-741-1000. Calls can also be made to Slaton Police at 806-828-2020.
