LUBBOCK,TX— Thursday night, nine months after Zoe Campos, 18, went missing, her family gathered on the night of her birthday.

Red and Purple balloons, her favorite colors, were launched into the sky. Each one carried a flyer with her photo and a message written by a friend or family member.

We’ve all written personal notes to her.” Campos’ sister Savannah said. “We’re just hoping that she gets it, or somebody close by her gets it and opens it up.”

There have been no real leads so far into where Campos might be or what might have happened. Regardless, her family hasn’t given up hope.

We believe that shes gonna come home,” Savannah said. “I don’t ever choose to say that I’m not going to see her again. I choose to believe that she’s gonna come home.”

Campos mother Melinda asked that anyone who had information call Crime Line at 806-741-1000. She said her only wish on Zoe’s birthday was to be able to hold her in her arms.

Baby girl,” She said addressing Zoe directly, “I miss you so much and I just want to hug you and give you your birthday kiss…I miss you.”
