UPDATE: Just before 11:00 am, the Lubbock Police desk said Linda Roberts was found safe.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety website, DPS issued a Silver Alert on Wednesday for Linda Roberts, 78, of Lubbock. The Silver Alert said she was last seen early Wednesday morning in the 8900 block of Elgin Avenue.
The alert was issued at 10:07 a.m. by DPS.
She was described as a white woman with blue eyes and brown hair. She was also described as 5’1” tall and 160 pounds. The Silver Alert said Roberts was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and pajama bottoms.
Her vehicle was said to be a 2015 gray Nissan Versa with license FSC9705.

LPD searching for missing elderly woman
(LUBBOCK, TX) – Lubbock Police are currently searching for 78-year-old Linda Roberts.
Roberts was last seen at her home in the 8900 block of Elgin Avenue, around 9 p.m. on December 25th. Roberts is diagnosed with dementia and is considered endangered. Roberts is 5’01”, 160 pounds and has blue eyes. She suffers from hearing loss and wears hearing aids.
Roberts left her residence in a blue 2015 Nissan Versa. The license plate is FSC9705.
Investigators with LPD issued a Silver Alert for Roberts around 10:15 on the morning of December 26th. If anyone has any information on her whereabouts, they are asked to immediately call 911.
