It was a somber day for the Hembree family as it’s now been six years since their daughter Maegan Hembree went missing.
Jerry and Robbie Hembree, Maegan’s parents, said all they can do is hold on to hope.
“We gotta keep going, we gotta keep praying, we gotta keep encouraging,” the Hembree’s said.
Maegan’s family said they have been coming together for six years to search for Maegan.
“We want to know where our daughter is, we want to be able to have closure,” the Hembree’s said.
Her parents ask that anyone who may have seen or heard something to come forward
“I’m hoping that someone knows [something] here in Lubbock, someone know [something from] 6 years ago, about this case,” the Hembree’s said.
The last person seen with Maegan, who was 30-years-old at the time, was a man named Michael Todd Ramsey.
According to the sheriff’s office, he is a person of interest in this case, and he’s being held on unrelated charges in another city.
“I pray that this man talks and tells us where Maegan is,” Jerry Hembree said.
They said they want to keep Maegan’s memory alive and won’t stop searching until they know what happened to her.
“She has a son and he’s 11-years-old now and he needs answers about what happened to his mother and we need peace,” Robbie Hembree said.
