The Texas Tech football team has spent the week giving back to different organizations around the Hub City this week.

Those organizations include the Ronald McDonald House Charities at University Medical Center, Carillon and local foster care organizations.

“I use to look up to all the Tech players when I was a little kid, and it just means a lot to them to sign a T-shirt and let them have that,” Defensive Lineman Talor Nunez said.

He added it’s not just about football, but opportunity to give back and be a role model.

Travis Bruffy, an offensive lineman, just happy to make a difference.

“It’s awesome to just come out and see some red raiders, who are going through some of the toughest experiences they will ever deal,” Bruffy explained.

The Red Raiders will begin Fall camp on Sunday starting with local media availability.
