After a spending a week in Hawaii, Wish Kid Abby Martinez went on several adventures and brought home lots of life lessons.

There were a lot of firsts for Abby on this trip. One of the adventures was swimming with dolphins.

“It was kind of scary, but it was cool,” Abby said.

Although she doesn’t know how to swim, she braved the water anyway. Abby said her new dolphin friend was slippery, so it was hard to hold on at first.

“They’re very playful,” said Abby.

She also went parasailing for the first time.

“Being able to see all that from up high was pretty cool,” said Abby.

She also got a chance to see all the sea creatures under the ocean.

“Waiting at the dock, a boat comes out gets us, They call out Abigail’s name and say, ‘We’re looking for Abby Martinez.’ They made her look like a queen, putting her on the boat first,” said Roman Martinez, Abby’s dad.

It wasn’t just sea life they got to see.

“We saw two sunken jets, one Japanese airplane and two sunken boats. It was amazing it was great. crystal clear waters,” said Roman.

On land, she went hiking up a mountain to catch views of a waterfall.

“It was slippery, it was wet. The trees out there, it was gorgeous,” said Abby.

Through it all, getting to spend a week going on adventures with her family was an unforgettable time.

“I’m very proud of Abby because she conquered so much, so much fears. Things she would have never done,” said Roman.
