**Winter Weather Possible This Weekend**
Friday night into Saturday morning the chance of winter weather returns to the South Plains. Likely starting off as isolated rain showers during the overnight hours and transitioning into snow showers as temperatures drop to and below freezing. Northeastern counties of the South Plains are favored to see *more* accumulating snowfall with up to 1″ possible. Most of the area will see less snow than that, if any. This disturbance kicks out during the early afternoon hours with temperatures staying cold in the upper 30s and low 40s with breezy winds.
