WINKLER COUNTY, TX — A Kermit man was killed in a traffic accident early Sunday morning in Winkler County.
According to the DPS, the accident occurred on State Highway 10, approximately 10 miles south of Kermit, at 5:00 a.m.
Authorities say a Ford F-150 was traveling south on State Highway 18 and drive into an east bar ditch. The vehicle then skidded across the roadway and overturned into the west bar ditch.
Rodolfo Garcia – Meza, 21, of Kermit, was pronounced dead at the scene. The DPS report states that he was not wearing a seat belt.
