Tyler Police were called to an abandoned building next door to Premier High School in Tyler after young people found a mummified body.
According to police, some kids were playing at the old community hospital at North Glenwood Boulevard and West Gentry Parkway Friday afternoon. They made the discovery, and police think the body has been there for a long time due to its condition.
Officials plan an autopsy. No foul play was suspected.
