A cold front moving in from New Mexico will give the South Plains a shot at some thunderstorms overnight. Heavy rainfall is possible from Lubbock east. There is a Flash Flood Watch in effect until 10:00 am Saturday for Swisher, Briscoe, Hall, Hale, Floyd, Motley Cottle, Lubbock, Crosby, Dickens, King, Lynn, Garza and Kent Counties. There is also a Flash Flood Watch until 1:00 pm Saturday for Dawson, Borden & Scurry Counties.
