The cool front that moved through the region yesterday is going to keep things rather comfortable this afternoon. high temperatures will be the lowest they have been since April. Wind will begin to increase to 10-15 mph. Lubbock will see a high temperature reach 79°. I can’t rule out a few more scattered thunderstorms on Friday afternoon. Right now, models are all over the place in terms of placement of the storms. So, just have an umbrella, or poncho in your car especially at the high school football games. We’ll see a high of 77°.
