Good Afternoon!

We’ll top out into the upper 40s and lower 40s today. Lows tonight will be warmer in the lower and middle 20s across the area.

A westerly and southwesterly wind on Tuesday and Wednesday will help warm daytime highs back into the 50s and 60s. Overnight lows will range from the middle 20s to the middle 30s.

A Brief Cool Down: Daytime highs will fall out of the 60s and back into the upper 40s on Thursday. It will warm back into the middle and upper 50s Friday and Saturday. It will cool down into the upper 40s and lower 50s on Sunday.

Precipitation Chances: The forecast models show a dry forecast this week across the South Plains and the Rolling Plains. Things will change this weekend as an upper level system moves into the region this weekend. Models are starting to lean toward a slight chance of light precipitation Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day. Temperatures would favor rain showers on Saturday and Sunday but is a chance of a brief rain/snow mix Saturday night. This may change as we get closer to the weekend.
