Need we say more? Llano Estacado Winery is excited to host their 22nd annual Wine & Chocolate Fantasia on February 9th, 2019 from 6:30 – 8:30pm at the winery here in Lubbock!
Chocolate Fantasia will feature over two dozen competitors that spend weeks designing a chocolate sculpture of their own creativity along with samples of chocolate delights for guests to enjoy. Over 5,000 samples were served at the 21st annual event, including a new savory category in which guests enjoyed shrimp drizzled with a white chocolate sauce and brisket bites smothered in creamy mole sauce.
Local celebrity judges as well as experts from across the country will be awarding prizes in categories including: Best of Show and a Judges’ Artistic Merit Award. This year we are pleased to announce that Man vs. Cake’s Aaron McInnis will be joining us as a judge! Guest votes are included in the People’s Choice and Champion of Savory Chocolate awards.
This annual event is put on in coordination with Llano Estacado Winery and the Southwest Parkinson’s Society. Tickets are available for purchase online, in person or over the phone at Llano. They are $75 a person with partial proceeds benefiting the Southwest Parkinson’s Society. Tickets include complimentary wine, chocolate samples, light hor d’oeuvres and a commemorative glass.
