One unique way to start cycling around West Texas is through the Cycle Bar on Milwaukee Avenue. Trainers there say it is a total body workout that is low impact, and good for all ages.

“The weight loss is amazing, but it’s a lot more than that,” said Lauren Navejar, a cycle instructor. “It’s an experience where you can close out your day, and for just 45 minutes get to wholly invest in yourself.”

Cycle bar blasts the music and turns the lights down low to make working out feel more like a dance party. Upon walking in, trainers greet you at the door, and hand you special cycling shoes used for the machines.

“Our job at this cycle bar is to distrct you for a few minutes,” Navejar said. “There are different intervals that we use that are going to push you outside of your comfort zone, but then draw you back into where you recover.”

Lauren navejar says the only thing you need to bring is yourself and they will provide the rest. For more information on classes or prices you can reach Cycle Bar HERE
