Join Maxey Community Center for Football Bonanza on Saturday, November 17, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Your whole family will enjoy tailgate-style games and football all-star competitions at this free event. Games include football toss, corn hole, bean bag toss, washers and more. Girls and boys ages 8-18 in three different age categories can compete in seven different skills test. Competitions will be the Long Throw, Punting, 40-Yard Dash, Catching, Field Goals, Throwing Accuracy and an Obstacle Course. Bring your lawn chairs for a great day of football and fun.
Maxey Community Center offers classes for all ages including Preschool, Youth, Teens, Adults and Seniors and is located at 4020 30th Street. They are open Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – Noon and 1:00 – 8:00 p.m., Fridays 8:30 a.m. – Noon and 1:00 – 5:30 p.m., as well as on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
