Restoring Hope – Lubbock is working on its third annual “I Am Not Lost” project which aims to help keep the community’s homeless and less fortunate warm throughout the winter season.

This year’s event will be held on Sunday, December 10th and begins at 6 p.m. Community members are asked to meet up in the hospitality room of the St. John Neumann Catholic Church (5802 22nd Street).

From there, participants will go out in groups and place scarves, hats, gloves and other winter wear throughout the city so that someone in need can pick it up. Attached to every item will be a note that reads “I Am Not Lost” with a different blessing written by the person placing the gift down.

The event runs through 10 p.m., and will wrap up with a gathering at Grace Campus where everyone will be able to enjoy and deliver hot chocolate to residents as well as sing some carols.
