Tuesday morning Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to a house fire in East Lubbock.
The fire was reported just after 7 a.m. in a home at 56th Street and Magnolia Avenue.
When firefighters got there, they worked to extinguish a fire in a house. An EverythingLubbock.com photojournalist on scene spoke to a fire official who said there was one occupant inside the home when the fire started. They got out safely.
The fire was contained to one room.
