In honor of Veteran’s Day the Silent Wings Museum invited the community to come commemorate our country’s veterans.
“Everybody always asks where is your favorite place to serve but honestly its always been about the people and the mission,” Col. Dave Lewis, a retired USAF Veteran said.
Col. Lewis spoke in honor of not only his 29 years in the military but also for his fellow brother and sister veterans that he shared the holiday with.
“I am proud to have served. I am proud of all my brothers and sisters over all the branches, all the different areas. I couldn’t be prouder to be a veteran,” Col. Davis said.
