‘Blithe Spirit’ is the Lubbock Community Theatre’s newest production that opens on February 16th.
This British comedy is about an author Charles Condomine and his second wife who invite the town medium for dinner and a séance. Condomine then becomes haunted by the ghost of his late first wife which does not make his second wife very happy.
Director of the show, Jay Brown, said this is a classic comedy and he is excited to bring it to a stage in the Hub City.
“My cast is so talented and wonderful to work with,” Brown said. “We have a lot of technical stuff and we have great lights and it is just a really good Lubbock Community Theatre production.”
The show opens on February 16th and runs through the next three weekends. Tickets can be purchased at on their website.
