MacKinley Malone’s family celebrated his life at Generations Church alongside friends of the 16-year-old.
“He is so happy this didn’t let the family be torn apart. Its brought us all together and has sparked changes and relationships have mended,” Chandra Malone, Mackinley’s aunt said.
The family started a foundation called MACNOW.org. All proceeds go to help teenagers in the community who may need extra help.
“To help struggling and lost boys and girls their life is worth something. It’s to reach kids who feel like they don’t have a place,” Chandra said.
