March For Our Lives Movement Rally In Lubbock

Students and organizers around the nation rallied in solidarity with the “March For Our Lives Movement” that started after a string of mass shootings in schools.

“I’m not asking for guns to be banned. I want them to be harder for people to get,” Emily Huwett, a senior at Frenship High School said.

Huwett, alongside her fellow senior Maddie Ennis said they worked hard to organize this rally in Lubbock.

“It made me realize this could happen to us and that this could happen to me too,” Ennis said.

The group rallied at the Tim Cole Memorial Statue off 19th and University.
