Lubbock Moonlight Musicals is presenting its last show of the 12th summer season with “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.”
The shows will be held out at the Moonlight Musicals Amphitheatre which is located at 413 E. Broadway. Performances begin Friday, August 4th and run each weekend through August 26.
Gates open at 7 p.m. and the performances begin at 8 p.m.
Featuring music from the film starring Howard Keel and Jane Powell, the play is full of high energy, music and dance scenes. Set in the 1850s Oregon Territory, the play shares the story of a young-wed and her husband trying to convince her six brothers-in-laws to move out of their home and get married. Instead of traditionally courting the young ladies, the brothers kidnap them to be their brides!
