Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month

Several years ago RN Lucille Neely with Covenant Children’s says her daughter lost her child and they were left with only the experience, but no memories. She credits that time in her life as the moment she decided to become certified as a perinatal grief counselor and coordinator.

At Covenant Children’s mothers and families who lose their child are given a memory box to remember their child by.These boxes are provided by donations from those who’ve been through the experience themselves, people in the community and organizations helping with pregnancy and infant loss.

On October 17th, there will be a memorial service for all the lost babies at The Heights Fellowship at 6108 66th St. at 7 p.m.
